My name is Lukáš Cajkář. I am 25 years old, I live in the Czech Republic and I work as a mechanical designer.

Modelling has accompanied me all my life, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I started building remote-controlled construction machines.

I try to build the most realistic models and at the same time make them functional and fun. I don't just have them on the shelf.

My machines are mostly 3D printed.  Therefore, first I must draw such a model on a computer.

No construction equipment manufacturer will provide drawings, so I get the dimensions from the catalogues and photos of the real machine.

I create all models in a scale of 1:16.  All models are powered by electricity and each model has a three-cell li-pol battery, receiver, controllers for motors and lighting.

My first model was a CAT D10 dozer. The second machine was a Kobelco SK850LC excavator and now I am building a Terex TA400 dumper.

I would like to show my models at events. Unfortunately, today with Covid-19 this is not allowed.

You can watch the video of this model in action and more of Lukáš's online videos on his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb4KGU558Sn8gTI3jnAoecA
